Woody Rash

Woody Rash has been in the financial services industry for nearly 20 years, beginning his career at Merrill Lynch in 1993 after graduating from the University of Colorado- Leeds School of Business. For 13 years, Woody proudly represented Merrill Lynch while building his practice, eventually becoming Vice President. He served in various leadership roles including a branch manager and as member of the Advisory Council to Senior Management. In 2006, Woody left Merrill to join Somerset Asset Management, a boutique advisory firm serving clients in areas of financial planning, tax planning and preparation, and investment management.

Upon Somerset’s closing in 2012, Woody founded Brightline Group. Known as a thoughtful listener, Woody takes great pride in the clients he serves and is deeply motivated to make a difference for people around him.

Away from work, Woody serves his community as a youth sports coach and as Trustee at Breck School, where he serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee. He and his wife Kristen live in Orono with children Kelly and Dylan, and foster golden retrievers when needed.
